The case involved labor and tax allegations arising from the company’s payroll withholding and wage obligations. After persuading the Court that California’s rules differed from most states and that the company had acted in good faith, the Judge granted a motion to dismiss all charges against the CEO. The company paid unpaid taxes, with no penalties or interest, and the Court then dismissed the felony charges against the company.
