Counsel for Justice, the charitable arm of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), has selected principal Timothy B. Yoo as President of its Executive Committee.
The LACBA Counsel for Justice provides free, volunteer-based legal services to over 10,000 underserved Angelenos annually. Over 370 volunteers (consisting of attorneys, law students, paralegals, and interpreters) directly serve the local community in four key areas of legal service and support: domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, immigration, and veterans.
In addition to Mr. Yoo, Managing Principal Paul Chan previously served on the Board of Directors at LACBA Counsel for Justice.
Bird Marella has been a proud supporter of pro bono legal organizations since its founding in 1981. The firm continues to champion organizations that substantially impact underserved communities, support civil liberties and civil rights, and enhance the lives of those affected by disadvantaged circumstances.
