Tuesday, August 3, 2021

Bird Marella attorneys Ekwan Rhow, Grace Kang, Jon Jackson, and Aharon Kaslow obtained a preliminary injunction in a mobile app technology trade secrets action in the Northern District of California. The action involved claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, and violation of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, among others.

On July 22, 2021, the Court granted Bird Marella’s motion for a preliminary injunction finding a likelihood of success on the merits of the misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract claims and a likelihood of irreparable harm, thereby protecting the client’s intellectual property rights.
