Principal Julia Cherlow has been named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 list of Top Women Lawyers.
Ms. Cherlow has developed an impressive practice in entertainment and complex commercial litigation. Her selection to the Top Women Lawyers List is attributed, in part, to her work on a highly publicized victory for the healthcare apparel and lifestyle brand FIGS in a nine-figure false advertising jury trial, a JAMS arbitration involving a multimillion-dollar dispute on behalf of the creator of the television series Supernatural (the longest-running scripted drama on The CW Network), and several confidential matters for entertainment clients.
She is also the co-author of the “Profit Participation Claims” chapter in the recently published 2023-2024 edition of Entertainment Law & Litigation for LexisNexis, one of the most highly regarded legal treatises on entertainment issues.
This recognition follows other recent accolades for Ms. Cherlow, including the Daily Journal’s Top Defense Verdict award and her inclusion in Variety’s 2023 Legal Impact Report.
