Bird Marella partners Elliot Harvey Schatmeier, Kimberly Meyer, Gopi Panchapakesan, and Fanxi Wang have been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under List.

They were selected through peer review and an extensive nationwide research process, and were honored for their accomplishments in high-stakes litigation and precedent-setting cases. 

Mr. Harvey Schatmeier primarily focuses his practice on trying complex business disputes, including breach of contract and business tort cases. When not trying cases, he focuses his practice on national “bet the company” privacy mass and class action litigation.

Ms. Meyer specializes in entertainment litigation, including matters concerning artificial intelligence, profit participation claims, and intellectual property. She is currently pursuing a Master of Studies in AI Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge to enhance her ability to effectively advise and represent clients in AI-related litigation.

Mr. Panchapakesan is a first-chair trial lawyer whose practice focuses on the trial and arbitration of complex business disputes. He is also an expert in defending class actions, as well as cases brought under the civil RICO statute and False Claims Act.

Ms. Wang represents clients in complex business disputes including false advertising matters, employment, matters involving virtual private networks, cryptocurrency, and entertainment profit participation disputes. She has significant experience representing international clients in navigating U.S. litigation and arbitration.
