Bird Marella is pleased to announce that Miri Gold has been elevated to partner, effective January 1, 2026.
Ms. Gold is a highly experienced trial lawyer specializing in high-stakes commercial litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court.
Since joining Bird Marella in 2022, Ms. Gold has been a key member of undefeated teams in all three of her last jury trials, including a Top Defense Verdict of the Year on behalf of FIGS and a Top Plaintiff’s Verdict of the Year, on behalf of a top retail manufacturer, Cresden.
Name partner Ekwan Rhow, who worked alongside Ms. Gold in the FIGS and Cresden trials, shared, “Miri is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to succeeding for our clients in trial. She has effectively and single-handedly managed complex cross-examinations and has first-chair trial lawyer skills that will only continue to flourish in the future.”
Partner Ariel Neuman added, “Miri has great strategic insight, which allows her to outmaneuver the other side. As just one example, in a putative class action matter where we defended a leading vehicle manufacturer, she devised a strategy to force the plaintiff to amend its complaint so she could then employ a unique argument to compel the entire matter to arbitration and effectively kill the case.”
Ms. Gold earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was top 10% of her class and served as Articles Development Editor for the American Criminal Law Review.
