Partner Ariel A. Neuman was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. The College is one of the most selective and distinguished legal organizations in North America.
Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, with membership limited to less than 1% of all practicing lawyers. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and after careful investigation to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years of trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.
A former federal prosecutor, Mr. Neuman is a decorated and highly sought-after litigator. He represents Fortune 100 companies and international conglomerates in high stakes litigation and government enforcement matters, conducts sensitive internal investigations, and continues his practice of representing individuals and entities facing government investigations and prosecutions.
In an acknowledgement of his trial acumen, Mr. Neuman has served as lead trial counsel in multi-firm defenses of some of the world’s largest corporations in the automotive, energy, and logistics sectors.
With his induction into the College, Mr. Neuman joins five other Bird Marella partners as Fellows, including founding partners Terry Bird, Vincent Marella, and former United States District Court Judge A. Howard Matz, as well as name partners Ekwan Rhow and Gary Lincenberg. This outsized representation among the College’s Fellows is a testament to Bird Marella’s status as one of the top trial firms in the United States.
