Managing partner Paul Chan has been named to the Daily Journal’s inaugural list of Law Firm Leaders, an honor bestowed on only three other law firm leadership teams. This recognition honors the visionary leadership that drives California’s boutique law firms forward.
In his profile, Mr. Chan discusses two of his most significant career wins: a victory for JM Eagle, the world’s largest pipeline manufacturer, in an over decade-long, high-profile False Claims Act case, as well as a three-month jury trial win against NBC Studios where he represented the writers and creators of the hit television series Will & Grace. Mr. Chan also discusses Bird Marella’s efforts to develop its next generation of firm leaders.
Partner Benjamin Gluck shared with the Daily Journal, “Wisdom is the combination of high competence and calm execution. For 25 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Paul and he has been the wisest person I’ve ever met.”
