Abraham “Avi” Rejwan is a trial attorney who represents individuals, executives, and businesses in high-stakes civil litigation, criminal prosecutions, and government investigations. He advises clients at every stage—from early dispute resolution through discovery, motion practice, and trial—delivering rigorous advocacy informed by analytical precision and steady judgment.
Known for sharp, creative thinking, Avi brings a practical, interdisciplinary approach to his matters, drawing on experience across diverse areas of law and quickly developing subject-matter expertise. His deep command of legal issues, procedure, and dense factual records allows him to anticipate pressure points, seize strategic opportunities, and capitalize on opponents’ missteps.
Before joining Bird Marella, Avi practiced at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholar, externed for Judge Dean D. Pregerson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and was appointed to the inaugural Board of Directors for UC’s National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement. Avi received his B.A. in Economics from UCLA and served as the UC Student Regent, leading systemwide initiatives on antisemitism, discrimination, student homelessness, and food insecurity.
