Abigail (Abi) Smith is a commercial litigation associate at Bird Marella. Her practice primarily focuses on matters involving trademark disputes, intellectual property, and entertainment litigation.
She received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law with a specialization in Media, Entertainment, Technology, and Sports. During law school, Abi was a member of the Documentary Film Legal Clinic. She received her B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University, where she graduated cum laude with honors.
Before joining Bird Marella, Abi was a litigation associate with Quinn Emanuel in their Los Angeles office. She also interned for the Legal Aid Society in their Queens, NY office, where she represented eviction defendants in housing court.
